Saturday saw us back at the beautiful Royal College of Physicians, to photograph Cambridge-based Jen & Dave’s beautiful big day. Jen and I have had lots of great girlie phone chats over the last few months, and we couldn’t wait to see all of her details come together.

The day started off with Jen and the girls getting ready at the lovely Chester Residence.

Jen’s dress is by one of my all-time favourite bridal designers, Stephanie Allin – isn’t it beautiful?  And her shoes, custom-made by Emmy, were well-deserving of some serious shoe art… In fact, everything was gorgeous!  One of Jen’s bridesmaids hit the nail on the head when she said that Jen didn’t just look amazing in her dress, she looked like someone who should model wedding dresses for a living! Of course, Dave and the boys were also very busy with their preparations… Bridesmaids, Rachel and Angela looked fantastic in midnight blue.  Soon it was time for Jen’s grand entrance… And she and Dave were pretty happy to see each other!  We loved the church – very dramatic…

And the sky was pretty dramatic too!

We heard lots of gasps as the guests entered the Great Hall! Jen & Dave are keen scuba divers and Dave proposed while they were about 10m underwater. This cake toppper was the perfect tribute to their underwater love.  Take one lovely couple and add some great backdrops… A lovely meal was followed by some excellent speeches. And then Jen & Dave took to the floor to ‘At Last’, performed by Callanish.  Ceilidh o’clock!  Jen & Dave – What a fantastic day, we hope it was everything you dreamed of and more! Thanks for inviting us to share in your celebrations and for being so willing with your time when it came to ‘just one more photo’. 😉
