School’s out for teachers Kate & John, who had considered having a winter wedding, but got the best of both worlds this weekend with a gorgeous, snowy spring wedding!

Our day began in East Calder, where all the finishing touches were coming together.

Kate looked so beautiful…

We were thrilled to see all the snow at Harburn House, although we had forgotten to pack our wellies.

Inside, the billiard room was proving popular…

…and John was making a few last preparations of his own!

The ceremony at the Granary was full of personal touches – with John and Kate’s talented friends and family taking part.

Then we headed up to the main house, where the sun was shining and the papa-paparazzi were waiting…

We loved our mini photo shoot with Kate & John – there was lots of giggling and ‘blue steel’ along the way, and plenty of Top Model moments too. Tyra would have been proud.

Over in the marquee, the guests were keeping warm and enjoying Champagne and canapes. And the Easter bunny had even paid a visit… We suspect some tampering had been done to the cake topper…

Kate & John are big film fans, and have we mentioned they have great senses of humour?

After a fantastic meal, the speeches all went down very well.

And then Kate & John took to the dancefloor, to a great version of  ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World’.

Kate & John – We had so much fun photographing your wedding;  your smiles are infectious and we can see exactly why your friends travelled such great distances to share the day with you.  We hope you love your sneak preview!
