We were in beautiful Perthshire this weekend, photographing the wedding of NYC-based couple Nicole & Martin, who managed to beat the volcanic ash clouds and have their dream Scottish wedding.

Nicole chose a gorgeous, vintage-inspired dress, which she brought over from the States. Her veil was custom-made by the same US-based designer.

Nicole’s friend and make-up artist for the day, Amber spent two days stuck in Newark airport on her way to the wedding. But nothing was going to stop her getting there!  One stunning bride… While the girls were getting ready, the boys managed to fit in a walk, archery & rifle shooting! Here’s one that was made earlier… Dunkeld Cathedral was a fantastic setting for the ceremony.  And Martin looked gorgeous too!  Nicole arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce… We love photo time! Back at the Hilton House Hotel, a beautiful reception and meal awaited. After dinner, we borrowed the newlyweds for a few more photos… Then it was time for them to hit the dancefloor, where they put on a great performance to The Monkees’ ‘I’m a Believer’.  Nicole’s Dad was keen to show where she gets her moves from…  We’ll leave you with one last favourite…

Nicole & Martin – We hope you have an amazing honeymoon and that your flights are diversion-free this time! Thanks for being a joy to photograph – we loved being part of your wedding!
