Laura & Stuart – The Balmoral, Edinburgh

We loved joining Laura and Stuart, and their families and friends, for their wedding at The Balmoral Hotel this autumn. It was a day full of  elegant styling and super pretty details, laughter and rain (so very Scottish, but romantic all the same!), and a whole lot of love.  And with an after-party packed full of ceilidh, Highland and breakdancing, plus a bit of casino action, it really was a night to remember.

Christina & Lee – Edinburgh engagement shoot

We are so looking forward to Christina & Lee’s winter wedding at Edinburgh City Chambers. We got together with them last week for an an evening stroll in the Pentland Hills, just outside Edinburgh. Here are a few favourites from their engagement shoot.

Beautiful landscapes you’ve got. Well captured

Rachel & Paul – St Mary’s Church & Bencraig, Fochabers, Morayshire

One of our favourite things about photographing weddings is finding ourselves in new locations each year. And so it was that we took a little road trip up to the North-east of Scotland, to photograph Rachel & Paul’s wedding in Fochabers. From the stunning family home setting to the country-inspired centrepieces and super pretty colours, it was one seriously beautiful day. Here’s their wedding story…

Katie & Craig – Kinkell Byre, Fife

We were so excited to be back at Kinkell Byre for the first time this year – it’s no secret that it’s one of our absolute favourite venues in Scotland! And from the minute we met Katie and Craig, it felt like we were spending the day with old friends. And what a beautiful day it was! The byre was looking incredible, the love & laughter was contagious, and the music was just brilliant too (in particular a hilarious song written by Craig, played during the speeches, will never leave us!). With days like these, it’s little wonder we love our job so much…

Thank you for doing such a great job so unobtrusively on the day. The results so far are stunning. You really captured the spirit of the day in your images.

Kind Regards

(Katie’s Dad and Craig’s now father-in-law)

MaryBeth & Andy – Dundas Castle, South Queensferry

Regular readers of our blog will know that we love an international romance (being a trans-Atlantic couple ourselves), and so we were really excited to be part of MaryBeth & Andy’s US-Scots wedding from the off.  Having met and fallen in love on a cruise ship (how great is that?!), they celebrated their wedding at the historic and beautiful Dundas Castle, just outside Edinburgh. We loved being part of their Scottish celebration and are so happy that they get to live in the same country (and continent) from now on! We wish them all the love and happiness in the world.
