From the first time we met Sarah and Mark and heard all their plans for their wedding, we knew it was going to be a seriously fun day. What’s not to love about cocktail-fuelled crazy golf for starters? Add in the rustic barn setting and a sing-a-long to ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ during the ceremony, and the tone for the day was set.

After the ceremony, and a quick round of golf during which we discovered our, until now untapped, caddy skills, we took a drive through the estate and stopped for photos at some great locations along the way. One of the things we love about Harburn is that there’s such a contrast between the rustic feel of the Granary and the elegant Georgian splendour of the main house, and the surrounding grounds are absolutely beautiful too.

Then it was time for the celebrations to really kick off, with speeches that were heartfelt and hilarious in equal measures, a super pretty marquee and lots of great personal touches too. Why are more weddings not penguin themed we are now left wondering? And while the midges had finally gone to sleep, the ceilidh dancing and sparkler fun continued long into the night.

Sarah & Mark – We wish you all the love and happiness in the world! Thanks for welcoming us into your day and for all the laughs and great banter along the way. You guys rocked it!
