Today we were in a beautiful and very remote Highland glen for a Trash the Dress shoot with one of our 2008 brides. Carol-Ann married Craig at Fortingall Hotel on a snowy day last November, and has been keen to get her dress back on ever since. When she asked if we were up for an adventure we were more than happy to oblige!

Seeing the looks on the faces of passers-by was priceless as Carol-Ann drove through the glen in her Landrover, dressed fully in her bridal attire, complete with tiara!

The weather was pretty kind to us – a strong breeze gave beautiful movement to Carol-Ann’s gorgeous Amanda Wakeley gown, and the sun came out too. Despite this it was pretty chilly, but Carol-Ann was amazing – ignoring her goosebumps and committing completely to the shoot.

We always say how lucky we are in Scotland to have such amazing scenery on our doorsteps, and today was a great example of this.

Here are a few of our favourites…

As usual Jay was determined to get his feet wet, but oddly enough didn’t venture back into the water after discovering just how cold it was!

No shoot would be complete without Jay finding something to climb!

Still smiling at the end of the shoot – No brides or dresses were harmed in the making of these photographs!
