Christine and Andrew's wedding at Glasgow University Chapel & Oran Mor
We always know we’re in for a treat when our wedding travels take us to Glasgow – it’s a city with a great energy and we love the creative vibe (we’ve been tempted to move there more than once!).
Not only that, but we were also really looking forward to photographing Christine and Andrew again after shooting their engagement photos in Autumn. Having two people in love, who feel comfortable enough to just be themselves in front of our cameras makes for the best photos!
We loved so many things about Christine & Andrew’s wedding, but most of all we loved the way they worked their favourite things into the day. Oran Mor is an incredible setting and it looked even more wonderful with the Harry Potter-inspired floating candles. I’ll confess that chemistry was my worst subject at school, but I now have a healthy appreciation for the periodic table. Their copper touches, chemical elements table plan and test tube favours (full of coffee beans and tea leafs), were just brilliant.
Add in a whole lot of love and laughter, plus some great action on the dancefloor (aren’t 1950s dresses just the best?!), and you can see why we left smiling from ear to ear.
